Legal support for employment matters arising during the reorganisation of Raiffeisenbank and Impexbank. The project involved development of a strategy for creating a unified staff structure, change/termination of employment relations with employees of the reorganised banks, negotiations with employees regarding amendment and termination of employment relations and consulting with respect to project implementation (the project involved amendment and termination of employment relations with over 600 employees).

Defended CitiBank in its dispute with Schindler over the invalidation of payments under a bank guarantee issued by our client.

Advising and representing Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires and Caisse Nationale des Caisse d’Epargne et de Prévoyance in the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation in respect of Russian anti-trust control aspects of their assets consolidation and set up of the central managing body of the second biggest French credit holding

Legal support for a mass redundancy programme undertaken by Dexia Bank. The project included elaboration of a redundancy plan, preparation of relevant documents, advice on all current issues during the redundancy period, payment of severance allowances during the search for a job and settlement of disputes with certain individual employees.

Represented a creditor bank in negotiations with creditors and a debtor company, resulting in an amicable settlement being reached;

Acted for Toyota Bank, Nissan and Volkswagen in office lease projects to accommodate the companies’ national headquarters, including: negotiations, review and coordination of draft contracts, advice, and legal due diligence.
