Acted for a consortium bidding for the “Moscow - St. Petersburg toll motorway from Km. 15 to 58” (Stage 1) and “A new access to the Moscow Ring Road from the M1 Federal Highway ” projects, including:
- review of the application options, comprehensive advice;
- elaboration of concepts for liability of non-resident participants in financing the project;
- structuring and registration of a company applying to participate in the tender.

Represented Sheremetyevo International Airport before a consortium of banks in a USD 222 million project for reconstruction of one of the terminals. Areas advised on included corporate, securities, real estate, tax, finance, antitrust and public tenders.
Participated in drafting laws regulating the preparations for and holding of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, including condemnation and allocation of land plots, infrastructure, construction, environment, town planning and zoning, financing, corporate and immigration.
Participated in preliminary consultations on a project for reconstruction of the housing and utilities infrastructure on a PPP basis in Bashkiria.
Implemented state-level projects financed by the federal budget - our legal support to one of the major international electronics, household appliances and medical equipment manufacturers within the framework of a project for supplying medical technology and equipment to Russia.
Advised a number of major insurance companies (including AON Rus) on aspects of government orders/public procurement projects (on choosing ways to hold tenders, preparing tender documentation and taking part in tenders, etc.).
Advised Transnefteproduct on financing-related aspects of its multimillion pipeline construction project.
Advising the Olympic Delivery Authority on the PPP procurement of the c£1bn Athletes’ Village and legacy infrastructure for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. more details
Advised ASFiNAG, the Austrian roads agency, on the first of a programme of four planned PPP road concessions which will form a network of highways forming part of the Trans-European Network (TEN).
Advised VT Group as shareholder in the Air Tanker Consortium on the £13bn Future Strategic Air Tanker Aircraft Project and as major sub-contractor. The project will provide 14 new aircraft delivering air to air refuelling for the Army, Navy and Air Force. This project won PPP Deal of 2008 at the Infrastructure Journal Awards 2008.
Advised Interhealth Canada Limited and HSBC Infrastructure on the Turks & Caicos Islands Hospitals, the first Caribbean PPP project. The US$124m project will provide two new hospitals together with a full range of clinical services and medical equipment. This deal was the winner of the Project Finance Latin American PPP Deal of the Year 2008.
Advising the Czech Government on the structuring of its PPP for the construction and operation of a luxury 300-bed military hospital accommodation facility and parking lot within the existing hospital’s premises.
